Belize High School

The Board of Governors of Belize Elementary School is pleased to announce the opening of its affiliate Belize High School on Mercy Lane at BES Campus. Belize High School (BHS) is a private, non-profit institution, with a college preparatory oriented and technology focused curriculum. Belize High School seeks to preserve and carry on in the same tradition established by Belize Elementary School of the highest standards of educational excellence and intends to continue to mold the students entrusted to it, developing them mentally, spiritually, and physically into intelligent, sensitive and positive young men and women.

BHS will seek to provide its students the greatest chance for matriculation into the University of the West Indies, other universities in Belize, at universities in the U.S.A. and elsewhere. It aims to produce a cadre of men and women citizens whose human resource capacity makes them recurrent leaders of sustainable development at the national, regional and international levels.

The school is currently accepting applications and will open its doors at the University of the West Indies Open Campus facility on Princess Margaret Drive in Belize City on September 2010.
