A shared vision for a 21st century education system denotes that educational pursuits should empower students to master core subjects within learning environments that are conducive to results. The results perceived in the curriculum framework governing the knowledge, skills, attitudes and dispositions to be taught at the Belize High School, are intended to immerse students in constructivist-based activities through the use of a powerful digital curriculum. This interactive teaching and learning experience is to be facilitated by highly professional and competent teachers who will transform the way in which this curriculum is unveiled. It is on this premise of excellence that the school curriculum will expose students to various content areas, the fine arts, and cross curricular skills of research, critical thinking and technological competencies. |
